Unleash Your Kundalini
Health and wellness are multi-faceted; we focus on our nutrition and physical strength, but the state of our nervous system often remains overlooked. Today, millions of people suffer from various mental issues like depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. Western doctors are slow to realize – but are realizing – that these aren’t actually medical disorders but stem from nervous system dysregulation. Even those who aren’t affected by this condition face mental stress regularly from their experience of modern daily life. It is inescapable, yet the method of dealing with such dysregulation is often relegated to talk therapy or medication. The effects of growing stress affect our bodies in innumerable ways and, over time, may become debilitating.
Enter Kundalini
Kundalini Yoga, though subtle, focuses on regulating and purifying the nervous system via spinal breathwork and meditation. It is a powerful practice that requires daily consistency, even if it is just a few minutes a day, to be effective in building overall wellness. It increases our natural energy making us more alert yet more relaxed.
In our hour-long classes, the combined exercises combine bodywork, breathwork, and chanting to create balance in the mind, strengthen the nervous system, and unleash the power of the body’s natural energy force, kundalini, which rests at the root of the spine. Using the breath, we slowly move the energy up, uplifting our electromagnetic frequency within our bodies, not to mention outside our bodies. The more often we practice, the stronger our frequency and the more we are able to withstand the stresses of life, so that we feel good no matter what is happening around us.
