Incentives Organic Spa & Salon has been a part of Fitness Incentive for more than 15 years. Yet, many gym members have never even set foot in it. I’ll wager that some of you aren’t even aware it exists, or if you are, you’re not fully familiar with its services and products. It’s understandable. You’re at the gym to work out, and your focus is on that. But our Spa & Salon is definitely worth getting to know. In the Beginning
Incentives was founded back in 2009 by Dr. Donna Brown, who was inspired by a simple but then-radical idea: create a spa and salon that limits the client’s exposure to harmful chemicals and toxins. This may sound like no big deal, but try reading the label of most beauty or hygiene products—everything from deodorant to shampoo to skin creams to toothpaste—and you’ll quickly see why it was and is a concern. Dr. Brown envisioned Incentives as the antidote, a respite from unnecessary exposure to pervasive, harmful chemicals. And so, Incentives, the Organic Spa & Salon, was born. That foundational idea remains central to our existence to this day.
Living Clean and Toxin-Free
While it was a little ahead of the curve, the organic approach was a hit. If you want a cleaner, healthier personal environment, reducing your exposure to chemicals and toxins in your beauty products (and Spa services) is a great place to start. It also perfectly complements the purpose of the Gym. Members were already here because they took their health seriously. They also want to look and feel their best and extend their health span, so natural, organic spa products and services were a logical next step.

Which brings us to today. We believe in Incentives’ mission so much that we want more of you to experience it. So, we’re taking steps to better integrate the Spa with the Gym.

You may have noticed that we’ve made significant esthetic improvements to the Spa, giving it a bolder, more expressive exterior and a more elegant, inviting, and comfy interior space. We’ve also completely remade the upstairs loft space. (Yes, there is an upstairs loft space in the Spa!) Our goal was to make it even more inviting for you to visit. Once inside, you’ll experience the same fantastic staff, services, and products. How amazing? Let me put it this way: We survey every client after every service, and they ask them to rate their experience on a scale of 1-5. The overall ratings for the Spa are consistently 4.9 or higher. So, calling them “amazing” may not be superlative enough!
