We’re thrilled to welcome hair stylist and cosmetologist Hailey Reese to the Incentives family. The Reese family has been something of a fixture at Fitness Incentive, and Hailey has been coming to the gym since she could walk. “I’ve been here my whole life,” she says with a smile, recalling her childhood in the FI nursery. If you’re a gym regular, you undoubtedly know her mom, Kelly, who has been a long-time manager at the gym’s front desk. After working for a while in the city, Hailey is happy to be back home on Long Island. “Working here just feels better,” she says, “I’m not chasing a big brand. I love being part of something homegrown.”

“Well, I’m great with blondes,” she laughs. Her repertoire includes highlighting, painting, and soft glam bridal hair. Hailey prides herself on enhancing natural beauty with seamless, radiant finishes. She also loves creating elegant updos and voluminous blowouts, ensuring her clients look and feel their best. This focus makes her the perfect go-to stylist for life’s big moments, like weddings, proms, and other special occasions.

More Than “Just Hair”

Hailey is also a professional makeup artist and a proud member of the prestigious Makeup Artist Union 798. She has worked with high-profile celebrity clients on TV shows, films, and red-carpet events, bringing her expert touch to the entertainment industry. She’s excited to share her makeup artistry with the Incentives clientele.

Sweating It Out

Beyond the Spa, Hailey is a familiar face in the gym, too, sweating it out in classes several times a week. One benefit to working at the Spa is the proximity to the gym, which makes sneaking in a workout a breeze – especially without the exhausting city commute. “After a long day, the last thing I want is to figure out how to squeeze in a workout,” she laughs.

A Passion

For Hailey, the Spa is more than a job—it’s a lifestyle. She’s always working to expand her skills and knowledge. Her latest focus has been lash extensions, a skill she’s excited to bring to the Spa’s offerings. “It’s a natural fit,” she notes, “alongside services like brow lamination and lash lifts.”

She’s also drawn to the Spa’s emphasis on organic options—a natural response to a growing wariness of chemicals. “I get it. People want choices, and I love that we can offer both traditional and natural treatments.”

Back to the Future

Looking ahead, she’s spotted a trend bubbling up: the comeback of perms for both women and particularly among men. They’re attracted by the perm’s convenience and low maintenance. “It’s all about time,” she explains. “Some just don’t want to spend an hour on their hair every morning.”
