‘Tis the Season for Giving and Giving Back…
- Janet Lang
It’s the holiday season. Everyone’s excited about finding the perfect gift for their loved ones. But the holiday season is also a great time to reflect on our good fortune and think about “giving back” to those less fortunate. Fitness Incentive has always been about giving back and partnering with several retailers that give back on a global basis. Fitness Incentive provides people in our community with a healthy lifestyle, fun fitness wear and fashionable clothing, and awesome organic skincare options. Part of every dollar you spend here supports local business and local charities, and through our retail partners, gives back to those less fortunate. In essence, you are “Doing good by looking good!”
Here’s how Fitness Incentive and some of our retail partners directly impact those less fortunate both in our local community and globally through their charitable donations.
Fitness Incentive
Fitness Incentive has been giving back for over 35 years, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to support our local community. We have held countless fundraising events, donated to numerous local charities such as the Babylon and West Islip Breast Cancer Coalitions, EJ Autism Foundation, Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center, Long Island Cares Food Bank, Babylon Village Women’s Club, Sandy Relief, 911 Charities, Good Samaritan Hospital, Southside Hospital, local PTA fundraisers, just to name a few.
Spiritual Gangster
Spiritual Gangster believes their purpose is to inspire a community of connectedness grounded in generosity. For every item sold, they donate proceeds to provide a meal to a person in need in partnership with Feeding America. With over 11 million meals donated to date, they are collectively impacting the fight against hunger in the US. Proceeds from SGs sales also support additional national and international organizations that are close to their hearts, such as Cambodian Children’s Fund, Make-A-Wish, and Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Eminence Organic Skin Care
FORESTS FOR THE FUTURE PROGRAM
Eminence is committed to giving back to the community and those in need through charitable contributions and support. It is their commitment to plant a tree for every retail product they sell. Our Forests for the Future Program, in partnership with the non-profit organization Trees for the Future, helps train farmers in developing countries on how to build productive and sustainable Forest Gardens.
EMINENCE KIDS FOUNDATION
Eminence believes that providing organic, locally-sourced, and nutrient-rich foods for seriously ill children to eat is an essential part of their treatment, healing, and long-lasting health. The Eminence Kids Foundation donates organic fruits, vegetables, and foods to sick children around the world.
CANCER RESEARCH
Cancer research has always been close to their hearts, as their president, Boldijarre Koronczay, is a survivor of childhood leukemia. Eminence is a proud supporter of Breast Cancer research and has contributed more than $100,000 towards research efforts since 2007. For every Sweet Red Rose Whip Moisturizer they sell, they donate $5 to the Canadian and American Breast Cancer Foundations. Eminence staff also participates in the annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Run for the Cure every year. They are also regular contributors to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and the Lung Cancer Research Foundation through monetary donations and product gifting for various fundraising events.
Saucony
RUN FOR GOOD FOUNDATION
The Saucony Run For Good Foundation is committed to improving the lives of children by helping to prevent and reduce childhood obesity. They act to inform the public about its cause and prevention and provide funding to optimize the impact and success of community organizations that promote running and healthy lifestyle programs for youth.

You need to be able to throw something back.”
