You may have heard me talking in my classes about the Inbody Scan. You may be asking yourself:

What is this?

Should I do it?

Let me start by saying that understanding your body composition will provide detailed information about which areas you need to focus on and a baseline against which you can measure your progress in your fitness journey. 

The Skinny

The scan is quick; it takes literally a few minutes to complete. You will learn your body fat mass, skeletal muscle mass, muscle imbalances, water, inflammation, total pounds of fat your body carries, and, importantly, your visceral fat, which can be a direct indication of health risks. You’ll be amazed at how much you learn about yourself!

I will review all your scan results with you, analyzing what the data tells us about your strengths and weaknesses. Then, we will develop an actionable plan for you to address them, including my diet, exercise, and lifestyle recommendations. I’m also available by email or text to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I recommend repeating your InBody scan every 2-3 months to assess progress and make any necessary adjustments. My InBody clients have seen dramatic improvements following this simple, easy-to-implement approach.
