“There’s nothing I enjoy more than hitting the sauna with a few friends after a great workout. Twenty minutes in the sauna goes by in a flash, filled with conversation, laughs, shared wisdom, and occasionally, shared tears.“

Sauna Talk with Cor
How can we kill two birds with one stone? Here’s one way: Sauna and conversation.
Saunaing (yes, that’s a word) is hot (pun intended), and for good reasons. It is touted for improving cardiovascular health, lowering blood pressure, decreasing inflammation, aiding detoxification, reducing muscle soreness, and more – the list continues to grow. Likewise, conversations can get quite heated and be decidedly stimulating, and nothing eases and encourages good conversation more than a sauna session with friends. Thus, two birds slayed by a single stone.
Sauna Talks with Cor
There’s nothing I enjoy more than hitting the sauna with a few friends after a great workout. Twenty minutes in the sauna goes by in a flash, filled with conversation, laughs, shared wisdom, and occasionally, shared tears. It’s precious and beneficial to mental as well as physical health.
Topics range far and wide, from personal health issues, family, children, medications, food, recipes, economics, hair, skin, nails, and sun. Sometimes, when someone is feeling feisty, we even broach the dangerous territory of politics, so far without killing one another! It’s fun and enlightening and never fails to leave you more fulfilled than when you entered.
I don’t know if it’s the heat or the shared sweat, but we all feel comfortable with each other. When it comes to the sauna questions, which are often directed my way, no topic is off-limits. It’s a no-criticism zone; there aren’t any stupid questions, and we are all there to share, learn and improve.
Join Us!
I invite you to join me and these incredible women of Fitness Incentive for a sauna session. There’s no need to worry about fitting in; we’re a diverse group with a shared goal of improving our health. I’m in there at random times, so I don’t have any scheduled hours, but you can usually find me on Mondays at 7:30am and Saturdays at 8:15am. Or start your own Sauna Society – grab a few friends, head to the heat, and start killing two birds with one stone of your own. (just not a Sauna stone – they’re hot!)
If you are interested in a one-on-one experience with me, consider an Inbody scan. It’s thirty minutes of focused individual attention to your needs and concerns. Sign up at the desk and ask for an Inbody with Cor.
