” I became a registered yoga teacher and became certified with tuning forks – a sound healing modality – and crystal singing bowls. After conducting a few meditations I was in awe of the incredible response and feedback I was receiving. People were really connecting with the healing benefits of sound and movement…”

Meet Our Newest Yogi, Diana Teichert
Health and wellness are my passions, and they have been since my early twenties. My personal fitness and wellness journey has given me not only my physical strength but also clarity and mental strength. I firmly believe that it’s saved my life in many ways.
My journey started as an avid runner. I fell in love with the serotonin feeling, the support and love within the running community, and how it shifted my mood and body. Shortly thereafter, as my passion for health and helping others grew, I pursued my personal trainer certification. After passing the ACE exam, I knew I wanted to dive even deeper and felt there was a bigger meaning to wellness aside from just “working out.”
After going through some things personally, I shifted my diet and saw immense changes for myself. My passion for healthy eating gave me the jump start I needed to see things unfold peacefully within my life and add more fuel to my wellness fire. COVID hit us, and as for most, it shook the ground beneath me, but I decided to use it as an opportunity to elevate myself in a way where I would be able to help people. From there, I became a registered yoga teacher and became certified with tuning forks – a sound healing modality – and crystal singing bowls. After conducting a few meditations I was in awe of the incredible response and feedback I was receiving. People were really connecting with the healing benefits of sound and movement, which inspired me to help as many people as possible and led me to teach yoga, movement, and sound in some of the most beautiful locations Long Island has to offer.
Our Common Experience
As humans, we all have one thing in common: we’re all just living, and we will all suffer hardships, both big and small, at some point in our lives. It’s how we respond to our tough moments and learn from them that forms us. It’s how we rise above and take these moments as opportunities to better ourselves and better others. As much as I challenge myself, I will always challenge the students in my classes. I believe when we think we can’t, you bet you can, and we will get through it together. I will never give up on helping people. I will always push people to become the healthiest, most positive version of themselves. Life is too short not to extend a helping hand and have a kind heart.
