What’s your favorite…

As the manager of Incentives Organic Spa and Salon, I am often asked what my “favorite” services are – and specifically which facial I like the best. Such a difficult question! Especially considering how many incredible services we offer (Signature Eminence Organic Facial, HydraFacial, PCA Peels, Dermaplaning, the list goes on and on). I mean, how is a person supposed to choose?? It’s like asking a mother which child is her favorite. And as the mother of 3, my response would be the same – I love them all! But for different reasons.

So, if I had to choose, I would say my current favorite is the Glo2Facial. Why? Well, let’s see – where to start…

1. The exfoliation!

The facial starts with a nice, gentle cleanser with one of our awesome Eminence Organic cleansers, and then the fun begins. A generous layer of a nourishing serum is applied all over the face, and a “pod” is chosen just for my specific skin type (a bit sensitive and “mature” – just like me). This pod is attached to a wand and slowly moved all over the face, providing the perfect and active exfoliation.

2. The relaxation!

This first step is followed by the application of more nourishing serums that are manipulated deep into the skin with a low-level ultrasound wand. It’s SO relaxing – the wand heats up as it goes along, providing a pleasant, warm, smooth sensation. The third step in the facial totally pushes the relaxation and sensation right over the edge as a final layer of nourishing serum is gently massaged into the skin with the Glo2Ficial signature facial massage apparatus. Feels fantastic with the bonus benefit of lymphatic drainage!

3. The Results!

Anytime I have had the Glo2Facial – I leave with skin that looks and feels clean and radiant. Often described as glowing, your skin truly looks different, and this look lasts! Maria Hogan (Incentives resident Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist) told me that she had compliments on her skin a good three days after her Glo2!

4. The Time!

Anyone who knows me knows that I can’t sit still. I honestly have no idea how anyone can lay still for a 90-minute massage; 60 minutes for a facial or massage is pushing it for me. Many of our customers love these longer-duration services, but for someone like me, cursed with a short attention span, they can be challenging. So when we brought in the Glo2Facial, and I learned that the facial is done in a half hour, I said, “Sign me up!” And I was not disappointed! Not only is the treatment effective, but it’s also efficient! My kind of facial!
