Dermaplaning is a skin exfoliating and hair removal treatment for the face.
This is an excellent choice for most skin types, especially those who have extremely sensitive skin and desire hair removal that can’t undergo waxing without irritation.
The Dermaplaning treatment is done by our experienced, certified Dermapro esthetician, Jackie Carini. A blade is used on a 45-degree angle to gently exfoliate the outer layer of dead skin cells while removing fine facial hair commonly known as “peach fuzz.”
A noticeable improvement is immediate as Dermaplaning also evens out skin tone, improves texture, minimizes fine lines and dark spots. Dermaplaning also prepares your skin for better product absorption, thus maximizing the benefits of your daily cleansers, serums, and moisturizers.
Is Dermaplaning Right for Me?
Dermaplning is recommended for clients who want a non-surgical, non-invasive, affordable skin rejuvenation treatment—with a focus on quick treatment sessions, no recovery time, and no significant side effects.
Patients wanting to treat discolorations, fine lines, dull, and very dry skin can achieve great results with Dermaplaning. This procedure is not recommended for active acne or people who have skin tags or numerous growths.
