This was my first time doing the Fantastic Four challenge, and I have learned just as much from everyone as I hope they learned from me

The annual Fantastic Four contest brings out the tenacity and mindset that everybody should have year-round! It is refreshing to see everybody get as excited as we are about fitness! Seeing the results and the physical changes in your body should increase your determination and drive to reach an elevated, healthier lifestyle.
The biggest point I try to drive home, in-contest or out, remains, as follows: “The numbers on the scale do not define you, should not deter you, AND will not stop you from attaining your goals.” Use them as a healthy tool to track progress. In the ten weeks my teams and I spent together, we lost as a whole 147 lbs, 48 inches, and saw an aggregate drop of 26% body fat.
This was my first time doing the Fantastic Four challenge, and I have learned just as much from everyone as I hope they learned from me. Most importantly, anything can be done with a little drive and commitment to bettering yourself. For some people that was finding an extra day to come to the gym, carving out an extra 45 minutes from their busy routines, or coming at a time that they normally would not. For others, it was just getting back to the gym!
To all of my teams, I hope I have inspired you to continue your fitness journey! Post-contest we are all still getting it done! All of my teams have stayed with me in one form or another, continuing group training or doing one on one personal sessions. I really enjoyed working with all of you; I am just as excited as you are about getting YOU into the best shape of your life. No matter your situation – despite age, despite weight, despite any other factors – we are on the journey to make you the best version of yourself!
