The fall contest is always something I look forward to. It helps me focus on healthy eating habits and developing new and motivating exercise routines.

The “Fall of Edition” of the Battle of the Bulge just wrapped up, and I’m happy to report that the competition was another success. We began with everyone being evaluated on the STYKU and then set goals for the contest. Following eight weeks of weigh-ins, group training sessions, classes, detoxing, meal prepping, emails and relentless texting, the results are in:
Congrats to Jacqueline Testa, with a weight loss of 21 lbs.
And an honorable mention to Carolyn Lily, with a weight loss of 20 lbs. She also had the most hours logged at the gym, with hours over 63 hours!
I’m happy to report that there have been hundreds of people who have successfully participated in the program. Many people have done it multiple times.
Kim Turri, long time FI member, said, “This is my third time participating in the Fall Battle of the Bulge, and it won’t be my last. I tend to develop very poor habits during the summer months, so the fall contest is always something I look forward to. It helps me focus on healthy eating habits and developing new and motivating exercise routines. I always look forward to Eileen’s weekly emails, that provide shopping lists, recipes and educational tips on exercising properly. And, Jillian’s boot-camps are always very challenging. The contest is always fun and motivating”.
Another long-time FI member and repeat participant, Barbara Krutcher said, “The battle of the bulge with Eileen and Jillian is the perfect way to get back on track after you fall off the healthy lifestyle wagon!! We gained a few fun summer pounds, and it was just what we needed. The weekly weigh-ins hold you accountable for following the diet and sticking to your exercise regimen. The diet Eileen gives you starts you off as a way to detox and gradually adds other healthy foods in moderation. The group exercise helps change your routine and try different things and push yourself a bit further. Eileen and Jillian always make themselves available if you have questions or need encouragement. I have participated in the program at least four times in the last two years, and I have reached and maintained goals I set”.
Carolyn, winner of the most hours logged expressed, “So glad I didn’t listen to the negative thoughts in my head about signing up for Battle of the Bulge – It was so worth doing. Eileen and Jill were the best. They kept me motivated and accountable and guided my eating plan. And with the extra workouts, what more could you ask for? With great guidance, I was able to reach my goal and am motivated to keep going. Fitness Incentive in the best!!!!”
That being said, we’re kicking to the “Holiday Edition” this week. Did you know, the average person gains between 7 to 10 pounds from Thanksgiving to New Years? Don’t be the average person!
Weigh-ins are November 23 to 26 and the final weigh out is January 1.
